German Language Courses
GERMAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE (30 HRS)
This year's ISU topic is: The European Union – Challenges in Times of Instability
All German language courses are taught by highly qualified instructors of "German as a foreign language". ISU participants will find optimal language learning conditions in small groups. Class sizes of no more than 15 students guarantee intensive learning.
The German language course is covered by the basic fee.

FOUR LEVELS ARE OFFERED
1. BEGINNER 1. Basic Level:
For beginners with no knowledge of German
2. BEGINNER 2: Basic Level:
For beginers with little knowledge of German
3. INTERMEDIATE:
For advanced students who want to improve their solid understanding of basic German.
4. BUSINESS GERMAN: For students who are already very proficient in German and want to
improve their conversational or acadamic skllls on the topic of Business German.
In order to determine which group is best for each student, a short oral and written language test will be given on the first day of class. You can be certain that you will be placed in a language course which is neither too difficult nor too easy for you.
