Tomorrow, March 19th at 10:00 a.m. CET/MEZ, we will offer an informal and virtual Info Session. If you are interested to join, please send a short request to ieep[at]wiwi.uni-frankfurt[dot]de and we will send you the Zoom invitation.

Update February 21st, 2024

A new examination regulation will be published for the MIEEP as of the winter term 2024. There will be minor changes to the program, which apply to new students of the intake 2024:

1. Professor Dürnecker (Department Economic Policy and Quantitative Methods) is the new director of the MIEEP program.

2.  The focus modules "International Economics" and "Public Policy" are merged to one focus module "International Economics and Economic Policy".

3. The compulsory Fundamental Courses of the first semester are extended by two additional courses "Fundamentals of International Economics" and "Fundamentals of Economic Policy".

We will publish the new examination regulation soon. We will also introduce the new MIEEP structure in our Info Session in March (see below).

Update February 21st, 2024

We will offer an informal and virtual Info Session for new applicants on March 19th, 2024, 10:00 a.m. CET/MEZ. Please find the Zoom Link here shortly before the meeting starts.

About the Degree Program

Goethe University’s Master of Science in International Economics and Economic Policy (MIEEP) is our answer to the challenges of a globalizing economy for corporations, economic policy, and society. It is designed to endow students with the economic expertise and analytical skills for a successful career in administration, government, national and international associations, and global corporations.

We preferably welcome students with a bachelor degree in economics or business. Candidates with strong analytical skills from related fields will also be considered.
