About
Jochen Christian Werth studied Economics at Mannheim University and Yale University. During his studies he focused on Finance, Econometrics and Management and for more than two years he worked as research assistent at the Center for European Economic Research in Mannheim. He gained work experiences in the fields of Equity Holdings, Mergers & Acquisitions as well as Debt Advisory.
In 2009 he started his Ph.D. at the Goethe University Frankfurt. In his research field of Venture Capital and Private Equity he primarily considers the financing aspects of young innovative companies. Doing so he employs methods such as network analysis stemming from Sociology and other research fields.
In October 2009 Jochen Christian Werth joined the Ph.D. program Finance. Since May 2011 he works as a research assistant at the chair of Industrial Organization.
