The Center for Financial Studies invites you to join them for the award ceremony and the high level academic Symposium:

“What Market Prices Tell Us”

in honor of Stephen Ross, award winner of the Deutsche Bank Prize in Financial Economics 2015, 

on Thursday, 24 September 2015, 12:00 to 5:45 pm, lecture hall at Campus Westend, Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany.

The Award Ceremony

Stephen Ross (Professor of Financial Economics and Professor of Finance, MIT) was announced as the prize winner in March 2015. Jürgen Fitschen (Co-Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Bank AG) will present the award to Professor Ross prior to the symposium. Philip Dybvig (Professor of Finance, Washington University in St. Louis) will give the laudation.

The Center for Financial Studies is honored to announce that Stephen Ross has also confirmed as the keynote speaker and is delighted to announce as plenary speakers: Robert Merton (Nobel Laureate, Professor of Finance, MIT) and K. Geert Rouwenhorst (Professor of Corporate Finance, Yale University). 

Panel “Understanding Efficient Markets: Limits of Policy Influence” 

The panel will be held by Eugene Fama (Award Winner of the DB Prize 2005, Nobel Laureate, Professor of Finance, University of Chicago), Martin Hellwig (Director of the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods, Professor of Economics, University of Bonn), and Josef Zechner (Professor of Finance and Investments, WU Vienna University of Economics and Business).
