Roman Inderst is Awarded a Prize of the Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der Wissenschaften

Roman Inderst, Professor of Finance and Economics at Goethe University Frankfurt's House of Finance, will be awarded a prize of the Berlin-Brandenburgischen Akademie der Wissenschaften, funded by the Commerzbank-Stiftung, on November 23th, 2015. This prize honors outstanding academic achievements in the principles of law and economics. The prize is awarded every two years and comes with a grant of 30,000 EUR.

Roman Inderst is one of the most renowned German economists worldwide with a strong research record. In 2009, he was one of the first to receive a research grant by the European Research Council (ERC). In 2010, he was the youngest German scientist to be awarded the Leibniz-Preis. Inderst conducts research in the fields of finance, microeconomic theory and competition and industrial organization. Before becoming a professor at Goethe University Frankfurt, Inderst held appointments at the London School of Economics, INSEAD, Freie and Humboldt University Berlin and the University of Mannheim.
