Dean's List Bachelor Admittance Criteria

Each semester, the top 5 percent of students of a bachelor's cohort are admitted to the Dean’s List. Accordingly, the required performance for admission varies from semester to semester – there is no constant grade point average (GPA) guaranteeing admittance.
After the initial admission, one remains on the Dean's List of the department until the bachelor's degree is completed.

Admittance to the Dean’s List is based on the grade point average, which can be viewed in QIS. It is calculated from the average of all grades from the entire course of study on hand at the respective evaluation date*, weighted according to the number of credit points (CP).

The following students are considered on the evaluation date (30.04./ 31.10.) prior to the Dean’s List Ceremony:

1st semester: all 1st semester students who have a minimum of 30 CPs

2nd semester: all 2nd semester students who have a minimum of 60 CPs

3rd semester: all 3rd semester students who have a minimum of 90 CPs

4th semester: all 4th semester students who have a minimum of 120 CPs

5th semester: all 5th semester students who have a minimum of 148 CPs

In order to qualify for the Dean’s List, you need both the required GPA and the required number of credit points.
