International Financial Centre Frankfurt

.

This page has moved! Please follow the link below to the new, actualized page:

http://www.wiwi.uni-frankfurt.de/professoren/grote/finanzplatz_e.htm

Since a couple of decades Frankfurt has established itself as a major node on the map of international capital flows. Contrary to that, little information about the financial centre Frankfurt is available - let alone academic research. This is a major drawback compared to financial centres like London, New York or Hongkong.

This site tries to provide a platform for information about the financial centre Frankfurt. The brief comments on every link allow for an efficient search for the information you need.

However, this site is very limited in terms of range and depth of information. This partially reflects the scarcity of information available but is mainly due to the still premature state of this effort to collect links. Any comments or suggestions are highly welcome. Please help to improve this site! (See below for author's address).

Many of the following links are, well, linked to the (German) capital market, though not directly to the financial centre Frankfurt. However, they are listed here because of the great proximity of these two fields. Note that some of the websites listed below may contain information in German only.

However, if there are any questions left, please do not hesitate to contact me at the e-mail address below.
