Dimitris Georgarakos obtained his BSc from the Athens University of Economics and Business (1997), an MSc from the University of York (1999), and a PhD from the University of Essex (2003).
Following his PhD, he was employed as Lecturer at Queen Mary College, University of London ((9/2002-12/2004), where he taught courses in Finance Theory, Investment Analysis, and Introductory Econometrics. He has also served as RTN Research Fellow in the Network on the Economics of Ageing in Europe (AGE).
His primary teaching and research fields are in Finance, Econometrics, Applied Economics and Microeconometrics. His current research focuses on household portfolios. |
