"Equity of opportunities, educational achievement, and financial literacy"
The project “Equity of opportunities, educational achievement, and financial literacy”, which is part of the SAFE funded team project "Household Heterogeneity, Financial Frictions and Inequality”, analyses factors of inequality in financial literacy, and tries to identify education policies which help to improve future financial planning capabilities. The analysis is based on international education evaluation surveys (e.g., PISA), household level data (e.g., HFCS survey on European households) and adequate econometric methods which help to establish causal relationships of interest.
