The power of four: 4 Universities Conferences at Frankfurt School

Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Goethe University Frankfurt, the University of Cologne, and the University of Mannheim came together for the Power of Four—a joint conference dedicated to advancing accounting research.

Members of the AccSus group contributed actively to the program with two paper presentations. Jonas Wessel presented “Division of Labor within Analyst Teams: Implications for Productivity”, offering new perspectives on team dynamics in financial analysis. Doron Reichmann presented “Timing and Tone: Identifying Deceptive Disclosures through Response Time”, exploring how response latency and vocal tone can reveal managerial deception.

The conference fostered valuable academic exchange and underlined the strength of regional collaboration in accounting research.
