Annual Conference of the German Economic Association of Business Administration (GEABA e.V.)
On September 12–13, 2024, the Annual Conference of the German Economic Association of Business Administration (GEABA e.V.) was held at the University of Bonn. The event was organized by AccSus member Anna Rohlfing-Bastian in collaboration with local hosts Matthias Kräkel and Hendrik Hakenes.
Several members of the AccSus group actively contributed to the conference program. Leah Matzner presented her paper “CEO and CFO Similarity: Do More Similar CEO–CFO Teams Perform Better During Crisis?”, Doron Reichmann presented “Listen Closely: Measuring Vocal Tone in Corporate Disclosures”, and Evelyn Intan presented the paper “Conscientiousness, Incentives, and Productivity.” Additionally, Erika Bognar participated as a discussant.
We are especially pleased to congratulate Doron Reichmann and his co-authors on receiving the GEABA Best Paper Award for their innovative work on vocal tone in corporate disclosures. The award recognizes the paper’s novel methodological approach and its contribution to understanding managerial communication.
