Doctoral Student Leah Matzner defends her dissertation

What connects executive teams, natural disasters, and artificial intelligence? They’re all part of Leah Matzner’s doctoral research, which she successfully defended today. Her cumulative dissertation includes four essays that span a wide range of corporate governance topics – from the interaction of governance mechanisms, to CEO-CFO dynamics in crisis situations, regulatory forbearance after natural disasters, and the role of AI in auditing and enforcement.
