AccSus publication in the Journal of Accounting Research

Our AccSus member Doron Reichmann and his co-authors Jonas Ewertz, Charlotte Knickrehm and Martin Nienhaus publish their paper on voice analysis in the Journal of Accounting Research.

The paper has a simple message: voice analysis in accounting and finance requires a domain-specific approach. Machine learning models trained on data from other domains adapt poorly to the corporate disclosure setting.

The paper comes with openly available resources to facilitate future research in this area.
