Research Seminar: Edith Leung (Tilburg University)
We were delighted to host Edith Leung (Tilburg University) at the AccSus Department over the past two weeks. Her visit was full of inspiring discussions and fresh perspectives.
As part of her stay, Edith presented her paper “Mandatory Pay Range Disclosures in Job Postings – Early Evidence,” which examines the effects of salary transparency mandates in the US. The study documents a sharp rise in disclosed salary ranges, a narrowing of gender pay gaps, and a nuanced picture of firm responses — with reduced profitability and market reactions suggesting compliance costs, but no evidence of recruitment inefficiencies.
Thanks for the great time, Edith. We hope to see you again soon!
