AccSus at the Verein für Socialpolitik’s Ausschuss für Unternehmenstheorie und -politik

Our AccSus member Anna Rohlfing-Bastian participated in the annual meeting of the Verein für Socialpolitik’s Ausschuss für Unternehmenstheorie und -politik, hosted at the Universität Paderborn.
The conference brought together researchers working on key topics at the intersection of firm behavior and economic policy — from disclosure and outsourcing decisions to decarbonization and data-driven operations.
Anna presented her paper “Should emission reduction be over-incentivized? – Carbon Taxes and ESG Compensation.” Her work explores how firms respond to environmental regulation and incentive schemes, shedding light on the trade-offs in designing carbon taxes and ESG-linked compensation. Moreover, Anna was elected to the selection committee for new committee members.
