Between the faculties in Frankfurt and Philadelphia close relations have been developed: between professors, research teams, and young scientists. Even a successful undergraduate exchange has been established.
The exchange is being appreciated from all sides: the American professors emphasize the opportunity to inform themselves first-hand in Frankfurt, the seat of the ECB, about the EU’s monetary policy and economic development. For Frankfurt professors, the colleagues from Wharton are not only companions and partners in research matters but also active associates in the successful process of modernizing and internationalizing the Frankfurt Finance Department.
Last but not least, the cooperation between students, junior scientists and fledgling finance professionals serves as an opportunity to question the boundaries of one’s own horizon, to develop mobility, and to experience internationalism.
