Jun. Prof. Dr. Devesh Rustagi


Devesh Rustagi is an Assistant Professor (W1) of Applied Microeconomics since April 2013. Before joining the Goethe University Frankfurt, he worked as a senior researcher at ETH Zuerich from where he also obtained his Ph.D. in 2009. His thesis 'Behavioral Heterogenity and Human Cooperation' was awarded the outstanding thesis prize by the KfW (the German Development Bank). His research interests fall at the intersection of behavioral and development economics, especially the management of commons, social interaction, leadership and institutions.
