About
Zahra Sharafi is a Ph.D. student at the Graduate School of Economics, Finance and Management (GSEFM) and works as research assistant at the Chair of Organization and Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Goethe University Frankfurt. She holds a Master's degree in Quantitative Management from the Graduate School of Economics, Finance and Management and a Master's degree in Socio-economic Systems Engineering from the Isfahan University of Technology.
Her primary research interests are in the areas of behavioral, development, and experimental economics. In the development economics area, she studies the effects and consequences of poverty, in particular on the cognitive and non-cognitive skills of adolescents. Another part of her research is associated with behavioral economics and aims at measuring economic preferences across the globe with incentivized experiments and quantitative and qualitative survey questions.
