Kerstin Meyenschein is an HR consultant, leadership trainer and freelance collaborator at the Kölner Institut für Managementberatung. After her studies of economics at the University of Cologne she worked as a lecturer and assistant professor in Germany and Spain, investigating the role of emotions for job satisfaction and leadership. For 10 years she has been working as an HR consultant conducting personal selection & development processes (e.g. assessment center, development center) as well as leadership trainings for big and medium-sized companies. Since 2012 she teaches the course "Soft Skills for Young Professionals" in the Business Administration & International Management Masterprogram at the University of Cologne, in which future managers and experts become acquainted with basic leadership skills in an interactive and applicable setting.
