Christian Holländer is a doctoral candidate at the Chair of Strategic Management at Goethe University Frankfurt. He holds a M.Sc. in Management with a specialization in Finance from HEC Paris and London School of Economics (CEMS MIM) as well as a B.Sc. in Business Administration with specializations in Finance and Accounting from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. Before his doctoral studies at Goethe University, Mr. Holländer worked for 2.5 years as an analyst in the investment banking division of Credit Suisse. He gained further practical experience during several internships in investment banking, controlling and management consulting.

Mr. Holländer investigates the preconditions and impact of an effective corporate M&A function by applying different empirical approaches (including surveys and case studies) as research methods.
