Malte Susen is external doctoral candidate at the UBS endowed Chair of Strategic Management of Prof. Lars Schweizer. In this capacity, he particularly focuses on exploring the impact of disruptive technologies on established corporates. On the way to his doctoral studies, Malte graduated summa cum laude in business administration from HEC Paris as Master of Science (CEMS) and previously from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management as Bachelor of Science.
On the professional side, he serves as Partner at London-based Impact X Partners, a mission driven investment holding and service provider for the future generation of wealth. Previously, he gained extensive experience in the financial industry as associate at leading investment management firm Oak Hill Advisors as well as in investment banking roles at Société Générale and J.P. Morgan.
In his (limited) free time, Malte is passionate about empowering the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Europe through the "Shaping Startups" initiative, which he drives as a common platform of the WEF Global Shapers Frankfurt Hub and the European Startup Network. Next to this, he was elected member of the leading think tank Chatham House - The Royal Institute of International Affairs in January 2018. During his professional and academic curriculum, Malte lived in China, France, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom and the USA.
