Current status of the curriculum planning in the Faculty of Economics and Business

Dear students,

We would like to inform you about the current status of the curriculum planning in the Faculty of Economics and Business for the winter semester 2021/22. We intend to go back to the lecture hall. This means that the current plans are to take this goal into account and to offer face-to-face teaching in the courses (with very few exceptions) in the winter semester 2021/22.   This face-to-face teaching should give you the opportunity to come back to campus to interact with the lecturers but also with your fellow students. Teaching in the lecture hall will be supplemented with digital elements (e.g. streaming of events where technically possible, asynchronous delivery of teaching content). We also want to use the latter to be able to react to a change in the pandemic situation if necessary. We are currently also making intensive efforts to find technological solutions that will enable us to manage lecture hall allocations flexibly and dynamically, not least in such an event. In view of the diversity of our events, these are of course only the cornerstones of our planning. Details on the concrete arrangements of the individual courses will be made available by the lecturers on QIS/LSF in due course.

We look forward to welcoming you back to our beautiful campus!

Prof. Dr. Uwe Walz
