House of Finance Comes Seven in the FAZ Ranking of Economists

For the first time, the House of Finance has this year been assessed as an institutional entity in the ranking of economists of the German daily Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. Based on the very good individual results of several of its economists, which were evaluated in the categories media response, political influence and research output, the House of Finance was ranked seven among all economic research institutes in German speaking countries. SAFE researchers contributed largely to this success.

Among the top 100 in the ranking of economists came Volker Wieland (36), Roman Inderst (56), Jan Pieter Krahnen (82) and Andreas Hackethal (87). Otmar Issing, Chair of the Board of Trustees of the House of Finance and President of the Center for Financial Studies, was ranked 54.
