Michael Kosfeld gives Helmholtz Lecture

Cooperation and mutual trust are essential components of human life and successful team work in groups, organizations and the society. However, quite often trust is misused and cooperation fails or cannot be realized.

On 26 January 2017, behavioral economist Michael Kosfeld, Professor of Organization and Management at Goethe University Frankfurt, held a Helmholtz Lecture on the topic in Berlin. He explained which foundations are needed for a successful cooperation and what influences people to trust and cooperate with each other. He referred to recent research results from experimental economics at Goethe University Frankfurt.

The idea of the Helmholtz Lectures is to present complex academic topics in an understandable and entertaining form to a broad audience.
