We offer German language courses for international students in cooperation with the International Study Center (ISZ). These courses are exclusively offered for students in the following English master's programs:
International Economics and Economic Policy
Money and Finance
MSQ Programs (GSEFM)
Each course consists of 6 semester hours in total (two days per week with 3 hours each) and takes place from 6.00 - 8.15 p.m. Please note that the exact days of each course will be announced after the registration via email is completed (see below).
The registration for the German courses takes place via email.
Registration period: March 1 - March 31, 2019
Your email should contain the following information:
last name, first name
course level (according to the CEFR, A1.1 - C2.2)
We will notify all registered students via email prior to the start of the semester whether they can register for their preferred course. For a successful registration, students must pay the course fee within the time period specified in the email.
Students who missed the online registration are only allowed to register for the courses if there are vacant places in the course.
The course fee is 150,00 €.
Upon successful completion of the course, you get a reimbursement of up to 100 €.
For the reimbursement, the following rules apply:
For the successful completion of the course, both attendance and performance are evaluated. Participants have to attend at least 80% of the course dates. Moreover, the lecturer will announce at the beginning of the course how performance will be evaluated.
The refund depends on the number of participants. The maximum of 100 € will be refunded in case of at least 15 participants per course. E.g., In case of only 10 participants, we will refund 75 €.
