Bernd Skiera is a new member of the SCHUFA consumer council

Professor Bernd Skiera, holder of the chair of electronic commerce, was appointed to the consumer council of SCHUFA Holding AG on March 1, 2016.

SCHUFA is the only credit bureau in Germany, having set up its consumer board in 2008. The independent council, consisting of 15 members from politics, science, economics and social institutions, acts as a neutral and public body regarding consumer-relevant topics. The board meets twice a year, forms specific working groups to discuss its topics and assists in the development of the SCHUFA Credit Compass. It also works closely with the independent SCHUFA ombudsman.
