News and Consequences of the Corona Pandemic for Applications in 2022

Update July 5th, 2022:

The Selection Committee has decided upon admissions for the winter term 2022. We have sent provisional admission offers via e-mail. If you have not received any information yet, you are most likely on our waiting list.

Update May 18th, 2022:

We have closed the application system for the intake of the winter term 22/23. We expect to have first application results by end of June.

Update April 1st, 2022:

The application system is now open for the intake of the winter term 22/23.

Update December 02, 2021:

We accept the IELTS Indicator and the TOEFL Home Edition tests for the intake in winter 2022/23 further on.

About the Degree Program

Goethe University’s Master of Science in International Economics and Economic Policy (MIEEP) is our answer to the challenges of a globalizing economy for corporations, economic policy, and society. It is designed to endow students with the economic expertise and analytical skills for a successful career in administration, government, national and international associations, and global corporations.

We preferably welcome students with a bachelor degree in economics or business. Candidates with strong analytical skills from related fields will also be considered.
