Eva Koscher completed her doctorate at Goethe University in 2018 and works as a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the Professorship for Strategic Management. She studied Business Administration at the University of Augsburg with a focus on Corporate Management, Marketing, and Sociology. She gained practical experience in consulting, business development at an international law firm, and with educational start-ups. Prior to her position at Goethe University, she worked as a lecturer at Coventry University, the University of Exeter, and BPP Business School London. In 2015, she completed a postgraduate certificate program in Academic Practice in Higher Education at Coventry University, becoming a member of the UK Higher Education Academy. Her pedagogical pursuits include innovative teaching practices and curriculum internationalization.

Eva’s research interests lie in Corporate Social Responsibility/ESG, M&A, and Strategic Management, with a focus on the social and institutional embedding of management actions and corporate strategies. Her research has been published in journals such as the European Management Journal, Long Range Planning, and the Journal of Management.

Since 2023, Eva has been responsible for the QSL-funded project "Sustainability, Corporate Responsibility, and Business Administration," which aims to integrate the topics of corporate responsibility and sustainability more strongly into the master's programs of the Department of Business and Economics.
