Dr. Hohen works as a research assistant (postdoc) at the Chair of Business Administration, in particular Strategic Management. He completed his doctorate at the Department of Economics and Business at Goethe University Frankfurt with the grade "summa cum laude". Sascha Hohen holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a degree in industrial engineering. As a long-standing managing partner of a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME), he gained extensive experience in corporate and personnel management. Through his professional activities, he has practical experience in the area of mergers and acquisitions (M&A).

Dr. Hohen enjoys dealing with interdisciplinary issues. His academic interests include strategic management and entrepreneurship. His current research focus is on entrepreneurial exit through M&A activities.
