Short Bio
Kristina Czura is a Ph.D. student in Economics at the Messe Frankfurt Chair of International Economic Policy at the Goethe University Frankfurt. She earned the degree of master in economics from the University of Muenster and Stockholm University. Her research focuses on development economics, microfinance and impact evaluation. She has been working with the Centre for Microfinance in Chennai, India, for empirical research and with the German Development Cooperation (GTZ) for impact analysis of microfinance in Sri Lanka. Recently, she has conducted field research in Bihar, India, on the role of microfinance and migration in disaster management.
