Bachelor Thesis

Application for Bachelor Thesis

The registration procedure for bachelor theses is described in the examination regulations. Information on this procedure can be found on the website of the Examination Office. Please check the exact regulations and procedures that apply to you.

As soon as you have fulfilled all requirements, you can apply for a Bachelor's thesis via QIS. Normally, you can apply from the Thursday before the start of lectures up to and including the Wednesday of the second week of lectures in a semester. Please inform yourself about the deadlines that apply to you. You can find further information on the allocation procedure for Bachelor's theses here. Please also note the information sheet on writing a Bachelor's thesis.

Please note: Outside of the allocation via QIS, NO other Bachelor's theses are offered or supervised. Therefore, we kindly ask you to refrain from such enquiries.

The Chair of Business Administration, in particular Strategic Management, generally assigns topics from the areas of "Mergers & Acquisitions", "Corporate Social Responsibility" and "Entrepreneurship". You can write your Bachelor's thesis in either German or English. Your Bachelor's thesis should be 25 pages long (+/- 5 pages). The chair supervises both literary and empirical theses.

If you are offered a Bachelor's thesis position at the Chair of Business Administration, in particular Strategic Management, you will be invited to a kick-off meeting as soon as possible. You will receive further information at this meeting. The exact topic of your Bachelor's thesis will also be determined. Please note that Bachelor's theses must be registered with the Examinations Office by 31 May (summer term) or 30 November (winter term). If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Dr. Hohen (see link).
