Katharina Hombach is Professor of Financial Accounting and Corporate Governance. In her research, she explores the market and regulatory forces shaping firms’ reporting decisions. Her work has been published in The Accounting Review, Review of Financial Studies, and Management Science.

Katharina is a principal investigator at TRR 266 - Accounting for Transparency, which also supports the Sustainability Reporting Navigator - an open science research platform on sustainability reporting.
