Simon Heß is a Ph.D. student in Economics at the Messe Frankfurt Chair of International Economic Policy at the Goethe University Frankfurt. He earned his M.Sc. and B.Sc. in economics from the University of Konstanz. Previous to his Ph.D studies, he has been working with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the KfW-Entwicklungsbank in Ghana. His research interests are Economic Development, Aid Effectiveness, Social and Economic Networks, with a focus on Africa and the Middle East.
