You can search for publications from the entire faculty or individual departments and scholars via one simple interface. Each author's profile page includes an overview of his or her current working papers. The database ist also available on mobile devices.
Goethe University’s Faculty of Economics and Business Administration is among the largest economics faculties in Germany with an impressive research record and a strong tradition. More than 60 professors, assistant professors and senior professors are currently working here. Numerous collaborative partnerships with business and industry enrich the range of lectures and seminars on offer. Our 5,000 students benefit from this.
Against the background of its broad and deep methodological knowledge, the Faculty offers further study opportunities beyond the Bachelor´s degree in several Master´s degree courses.
The Ph.D. programs of the Graduate School of Economics, Finance, and Management (GSEFM) were developed for students whose goal it is to pursue a career in research. The programs at the adjoining Goethe Business School (GBS) are aimed at those already working.
The staff of the SSIX Info Center are students in the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. They are well-informed to answer all of the daily questions related to your studies and the Faculty, and will be able to direct you to the right contact person. There are different ways to make your study abroad experience happen. You may apply for an exchange with one of the many worldwide partner universities of the Faculty or for the programs offered by the International Office of the university. You can also decide to organize an individual study abroad period as “freemover” to a university of your choice.
The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration offers its students a broad network of international partners. Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Australian National University, Canberra, Fudan University, Shanghai, Universitat Pompeu Fabra Barcelona, Tilburg University, and University of St. Gallen are among our more than 100 prestigious partner institutions.
The close link between economics and business administration, the special care taken of theoretical analysis and empirical research as well as an open-mindedness for a broad range of practically and societally relevant questions are the main characteristics of the research at this Faculty.

The Center for Financial Studies and the Goethe University in Frankfurt at the beginning of 2013 launched its new Research Center „Sustainable Architecture for Finance in Europe“ (SAFE). SAFE has set itself the goal to discover the requirements for an optimal regulatory framework for the financial markets and their actors.
Due to the increasing scarcity of resources, climate change and the growing number of armed conflicts traditional notions of order get to their limits. The Cluster of Excellence Normative Orders unites researchers from different disciplines to examine the changing socio-political conditions of "globalization" and new technical possibilities.
The Graduate School of Economics, Finance, and Management (GSEFM) – based in the House of Finance at Goethe-University Frankfurt – constitutes an alliance between Goethe-University Frankfurt, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, and Darmstadt University of Technology.
