ShanghaiRanking: Faculty of Economics and Business achieves excellent results

Goethe University has achieved outstanding results in the renowned ShanghaiRanking (Global Ranking of Academic Subjects).

The Faculty of Economics and Business is particularly pleased of the outcome in the following subjects: Finance (3rd place among German universities), Business Administration, and Economics (both 7th place among German universities). Professor Maik Schmeling (Chair of Finance) considers this as a confirmation for the faculty: “The excellent results, especially in Finance, reflect our long-standing efforts to play a leading role in this domain. We were able to achieve this by providing high-quality research and teaching, as well as by working together with renowned research institutes, such as the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE.”
