That is, classes are held biweekly on Friday afternoons and Saturdays, thereby minimizing the amount of time away from work in order to attend classes and complete course assignments.

The GBS Master in Finance attracts ambitious academics who have a minimum of 1 year of post-graduate professional experience in the field of finance. Students are expected to have excelled academically in quantitative coursework during their first degree studies.

The GBS Master in Finance combines up-to-date theories with practical applications which the student can apply immediately in the place of work. The curriculum is comprised of foundation, concentration and electives courses for a total of 90 credit points and starts in April of each year. Students can complete coursework in 3 semesters with an additional 14 weeks for the completion of the master thesis, leading to a Master of Arts in Finance degree from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Goethe University Frankfurt. Students also have the possibility to focus on Risk Management, leading to a Master of Arts in Finance with specialization in Risk Management degree upon completion of all modules.
