Description: "Eltern-Kind-Räume" are rooms in which, in addition to one or more workstations, there is the possibility for children to play. The rooms are small oases in everyday university life for studying and employed parents and their children. For example, it is possible to take changing, resting and breastfeeding breaks. So far, the university provides four of these rooms at the Bockenheim, Riedberg and Westend campuses. One of the rooms is also located in the Building for Law and Economics (Theodor-W.-Adorno-Platz 1), in room RuW 1.112. At the gate in the RuW building, you will receive closing cards for the parent-child room, which can be borrowed for a deposit for the duration of use. If you use the room more frequently, you can apply for a locking permit, linked to your own Goethe Card, at the Campus Westend service team. Please send an e-mail with the subject "Eltern-Kind-Raum im RuW, Raum 1.112", your name and your Goethe-Card number to service_ruw[at]dlist.uni-frankfurt[dot]de.

Description: The child minder is sick, the daycare center is closed or no suitable holiday care is available? Kids & Co. Back-up is a company back-up facility for childcare in emergency and problem situations. The opening hours of Kids & Co. Back-up are basically based on the care needs of families and the operational requirements. In a mixed-age group we look after children from the ages of 6 weeks to 12 years. Outside the holiday periods, the majority of children under the age of 3 visit us, during the school holidays many school children also come to our back-up. Please call the nationwide service hotline (0800-801007080) to register the child for the corresponding day. If the telephone booking is made by 6.00 p.m. the day before at the latest, we guarantee the support for the next day.

Description: The family service ("Familien-Service"), organized by the (central) Equal Opportunities Office, would like to inform you about the "FlexiKids" fund. The idea of this pilot project is to help all employees and doctoral students of Goethe University by covering the costs of childcare that arise during marginal periods (e.g. in the evening after closing times of childcare facilities).
