The Unibator of the Goethe University regards itself as incubation for innovation. It supports students, employees and alumni of all departments in the implementation of scientific knowledge and the resulting business ideas to establish marketable products and services. Founders go through an 18-month startup program to develop a validated and scalable business model. The Unibator has set up a focus in the field of FinTech in cooperation with the research-strong Department of Economics.

The project AndersGründer in the Social Impact Lab Frankfurt accompanies startups in founding their social enterprises, with coaching, qualification, co-working and access to relevant networks.

Universities in the FrankfurtRheinMain region are pooling their activities

The universities of the FrankfurtRheinMain region are moving closer together to pool their expertise in support of startup initiatives from the academic environment in a central Internet portal. Students, who are interested in founding a start-up, are enabled to find support for startups in early stages of development or in advanced growing phase at 17 different universities in the FrankfurtRheinMain region. This includes incubators and accelerators as well as support programs, cooperation offers with external partners from business and science, competitions and start-up awards. In particular, offers are available for interdisciplinary and cross-university team building. An overview of the individual contacts at the universities rounds off the spectrum.
