Master's Course
General Course Attendance Requirements
The Master's Course in English for Economists is exclusively reserved for Master students matriculated in a German-language Master's study course in our faculty and is offered every semester. The following Master students are eligible to take this course:
- Master of Business Administration
- Master in Business IT
- Master in Business Pedagogy
Target Level of Competence
This Master’s course corresponds to level C1.2. according to the Common European Reference Framework on Languages (CEFR).
Master Qualifying Test
Date: Thursday, 17th October 2024 from 12:00 to 14:00.
Registration for the Qualifying Test is automatic when you register for the course.
All registered candidates will be informed via email if they have passed the exam or not.
Participants will have ample opportunity to take an active role through working in pairs, small groups and in the form of plenary discussions. A greater understanding of grammar will be achieved by monitoring and discussing oral and written exercises.

Oral and written examinations (90 minutes) both take place at the end of the lecture time. There are no second or repeat examination dates.
All participants are required to write a home assignment of 1,000 words and must hand it in in class.
Credit points: All successful participants will receive 6 credit points for completing the Master's Course: English for Economists.
For successfully completing the course an internal language competence C1.2 certificate will be issued.
