Excellent positions in the WirtschaftsWoche research ranking

In a recent ranking by WirtschaftsWoche, Oliver Hinz (Professor of Information Systems and Information Management) achieved an outstanding tenth place. This ranking includes all business economists and business informatics specialists from the DACH region in the five-year period (2020-2024). The research activities of Oliver Hinz and his team at the Chair of Information Systems and Information Management cover a wide range of topics, including applied machine learning and e-finance.

Bernd Skiera (Professor of Electronic Commerce) achieved a magnificent seventh place among all business economists and business informatics specialists in German-speaking countries in the lifetime achievement ranking. Among other things, he researches the economic consequences of increased data security and transparency.

Goethe University is one of the ten best universities for business administration in German-speaking countries (2020 to 2024).
