Successful reaccreditation by the AACSB

In May 2025, the Faculty of Economics and Business (Faculty 02) at Goethe University Frankfurt successfully completed the re-accreditation process by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). With this achievement, one of the world’s leading accreditation bodies for business schools once again confirms the Faculty’s outstanding quality in research, teaching, and knowledge transfer.

AACSB accreditation is recognized worldwide as the “gold standard” for business schools and faculties of economics. Globally, fewer than six percent of institutions meet these rigorous standards. Since 2005, the Faculty of Economics and Business has been part of this exclusive group, and the successful re-accreditation demonstrates once again the Faculty’s commitment to excellence across all key areas.

The re-accreditation process particularly highlighted the Faculty’s strong international orientation, its close integration of theory and practice, as well as its commitment to social responsibility and sustainability.

With the renewed AACSB accreditation, the Faculty of Economics and Business further strengthens its position as one of the leading institutions for economics and business studies in Germany and Europe.
